Cary Okoro is an artist and filmmaker who worked as a writer & director of creative non-fiction programming for film, tv, web and print media, as well as doing marketing and social media for corporate, educational and charitable organizations. Based in Chicago, her clients included: CBS/Paramount Pictures ("Dr. Phil" series), PBS, MSNBC, VH1, Discovery Network, Hallmark Channel, ABN-AMRO, Amway, Abbott Laboratories, University of Chicago, Motorola and many more.
These days you can either find Okoro in her studio in the old Sligh Furniture warehouse in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, or at the beach. Her work is exhibited internationally and her paintings & photography work are in collections across the US. She has been a member of the Director's Guild of America since 2004. |
